SAADANI ANIMAL RESERVES (HIFADHI YA SAADANI)

Saadani is the only.animal reserve near cost of Indian ocean,it located in the middle of two regions in Tanzania.   These regions are Tanga and Pwani,also there are coastal forest with a lot of animals from water and land such as Lion,girrafe,hippo and flamingosm .   There is large river called Wami in this animal reserve with alot of animal like hippo and crocodile.

TSAVO NATIONAL PARK (HIFADHIYA TAIFA TSAVO)

    Tsavo East National Park is one of the oldest and largest parks in Kenya at 13,747 square
kilometres. Situated in a semi-arid area previously known as the Taru Desert it opened
in April 1948, it is located near the town of Voi in the Taita-Taveta District of Coast Province .
The park is divided into east and west sections by the A109 road and a railway. Named for the
Tsavo River , which flows west to east through the national park, it borders the Chyulu Hills
National Park , and the Mkomazi Game Reserve in Tanzania.

RUFIJI RIVER DELTA (DELTA YA MTO RUFIJI)

The Rufiji River lies entirely within the African
nation of Tanzania . The river is formed by the
confluence of the Kilombero and Luwegu rivers .
It is approximately 600 kilometres (370 mi)
long, with its source in southwestern Tanzania
and its mouth on the Indian Ocean at a point
between Mafia Island called Mafia Channel. Its
principal tributary is the Great Ruaha River . It is
navigable for about 100 kilometres (62 mi).
The Rufiji is about 200 kilometres (120 mi)
south of Dar-es-Salaam . The river's delta
contains the largest mangrove forest in eastern
Africa.

MAPANGO YA AMBONI(AMBONI CAVES)

The Amboni Caves are the most extensive
limestone caves in East Africa . They are located
8 km north of Tanga City in Tanzania off the
Tanga-Mombasa road. The caves were formed
about 150 million years ago during the Jurassic
age. It covers an area of 234 km². According to
researchers the area was under water some 20
million years ago. There are altogether ten
caves but only one is used for guided...

Yalijijenga miaka  milioni 150 iliyopita katika  kipindi cha  miaka ya Jurassic. Yanachukua kilomita za eneo 234… Kwa mujibu wa baadhi ya watafiti eneo hilo la mapango lilikuwa chini ya maji  miaka milioni 20 iliyopita. Mapango ya kwa pamoja yapo 10  lakini moja tu ndio linatumiwa kuongoza.

Sof omar ni pango refu kuliko yote nchini Ethiopia  kwa Kilomita  15.1 (maili 9.4)  ni mfumo mrefu wa  pango kuliko  yote Africa. Yapo mashariki mwa Robe katika ukanda wa Bale wa mkoa wa Oromia kusini mashariki mwa Ethiopia (6°55'KAS 40°45°MASH/6.917°KAS 40.750°MASH),kupitia  mteremko wa mto Weyib......

Sof Omar Cave is the longest cave in Ethiopia at
15.1 kilometres (9.4 mi) long; sources claim it
is the longest system of caves in Africa . It is
situated to the east of Robe , in the Bale Zone of
the Oromia Region in southeastern Ethiopia
( 6°55′N 40°45′E / 6.917°N 40.750°E ), through
which the Weyib River (Gestro River) flows.  It
sinks at the Ayiew Maco entrance and reappears
at the Holuca resurgence 1 kilometre (0.62 mi)
away. According to tradition Sof Omar was the
name of a Muslim holy man who lived in the
area and Ayiew the name of his daughter. Maco
and Holuca are local names for 'name' and
'cave', respectively. Long a religious centre, it is
sacred both to Islam and the local Oromo
traditional religion. The caves are known for
their many pillars, particularly in the 'Chamber
of Columns'.

  The Ngorongoro Conservation Area (NCA) is a conservation area and a UNESCO World Heritage Site located 180 km (110 mi) west of Arusha in the Crater Highlands area of Tanzania.
Ngorongoro Crater, a large volcanic caldera within the area, is recognized by one private
organization as one of the Seven Natural Wonders of Africa.

 

MTO KONGO

Mto wa Kongo (kati ya 1971 and 1997 uliitwa Zaire) ni mto mkubwa wa Afrika ya kati. Ni mto
mrefu wa pili katika Afrika baada ya Nile. Beseni ya Kongo pamoja na tawimito yake ni
eneo kubwa la pili duniani la msitu wa mvua. Pia kiasi cha maji pamoja na ukubwa wa beseni
yake zina nafasiy a pili duniani baada ya Amazonas huku Amerika ya Kusini. Jina la mto limepatikana kutokana na Ufalme wa Kongo uliokuwa dola kubwa katika Angola ya Kaskazini na Kongo ya Magharibi wakati wa karne 14-17 BK. Jamhuri zote mbili za Kongo
zimepata majina yao kutoka kwa mto.
